Healthy choices in the nursery |
Snacks and lunch time are sociable events in the nursery. Children sit down with their friends. They are supervised by a member of staff to follow a routine of hygiene, eating, drinking and table manners. Every day fruit and vegetables, milk and water are available. We also use snack sessions to introduce new foods, foods from other countries and foods that are made and cooked by the children. |

Children who stay for lunch bring a packed lunch. We encourage parents to provide healthy lunches and drinks for their children. There are leaflets and workshops available for those who would like more information. Nursery provides the lunch club children with a variety of fruit every lunch time and water is always available for drinking. CHILD ZONE "I like having my lunch cus I get hungry at this nursery."
